Ornitalia’s internal laboratory analyses the raw materials used and the finished products and, in synergy with accredited external laboratories, ensures that these products are rich in properties and do not pose risks to animal health. Microbiological analyses are conducted daily to quantify microorganisms and exclude the presence of pathogens.
Through the alpha camera, it is verified that the quantities of aflatoxins, where present, are below the legal limits.
Ornitalia collaborates with various institutes and external laboratories for the determination of the nutritional label and the different analytical parameters of the marketed products.
